Bacon offended me !!

Dear, Mr. Bacon! you have done such an offence by writing such a discreet work that i must say i hate you. Those luring words as to compact and compose them under the name 'advantages'. I must be pardoned to say that I despise them all. For it gives that a scholar can't be a friend if i must say. I may take the liberty and supplicate that please score your essay as an offense to mass property and take the penalty. Turn yourself in or i may be obliged to come armed sir!

The offense is sir! that in the penultimate fornication of facts you are blinding people into believe that they are alone, as alone as a hog deep-sea drowning for the trepidity of being hollow. Ripped of self, bygone the flattery! And then absenty of affection, understanding, and part-taking boon.. that you say I am at the mercy of definitions such as to be subtly called a beast or God eh? That's an offence fair and square !

Now, I won't say no more, for I must spill my rage at you and protest sir! protest by silence now-

Gestures- these 'say' something... -But what of this case please?

Well, now that you talk of semantics. Semantics of posture.

Extract:
"Whether we sit on the floor or on chairs, cross our legs at the ankles, over the knees, or not at all—these ‘say’ something about a person’s cultural background but they do not communicate semantically."

Well, firstly i thought you technically take it as semantics :3 . Secondly, i want to know what 'say' it about one who sits on chair, and have his legs taken aback vertically, making some angle of less than 90 with the floor (though not oght to say vertical, lol). Well, just the complaint that you didn'nt incorporated this case. Though you seek n speak in generals i know. But i want to know of this gesture, that is all! So, dear linguists or whosoever, heed the case and provide feedback please :D .

Thanks in advance ~

signs n gestures that i know communicate something- but what's the fault of dear lil baby?

Well, so discussed in the book that pinching one’s nostrils closed with thumb and forefinger -communicates the gesture of 'disgust or displeasure with something (like ‘It stinks')' !

.. taken from the extract:

/Similarly, there are visible signs, gestures, which have a standard, shared meaning, and there are elements of appearance—‘body language’— which possibly create an effect on the observer and therefore on the interpretation of a spoken message. The former, the visible signs, have the capacity to communicate in much the way a word communicates; the latter could only be said to communicate in a secondary sense.

Consider these visual signs:
nodding the head in response to an utterance
crossing one’s fingers pretending to yawn, with finger tips in front of mouth
holding up a thumb from a closed fist
pinching one’s nostrils closed with thumb and forefinger

Like the audible signs mentioned above, these gestures have recognized, though somewhat vague, shared meanings. The first suggests agreement or affirmation; the second, a hope for success when circumstances are uncertain; the third, boredom; the fourth, determination to make one’s cause successful; the fifth, disgust or displeasure with something (‘It stinks') /

Well, the question is that the boo little baby, is pinched er hard at nose. No less. All well succumbs to the temptation of tweaking that tiny winy nose. Awww, poor little darling. Ahm, is that to figure n elucidates the gesture that the baby conjures to plot against his nose or that the disgusting odour somewhere about that the nose be pinched (since he cannot do the service himself !) -? :v O I say it all on account of limitation of the gesture to explain itself in the book ! Hehe.., Have a good day. Thanks for reading till the end :D !

P.S

Now caution sir! n ma'am too! before playing your gestures on poor little darling .

Murderer?

'I'll murder the man sir! by virtue of cause__' says a wild man in hood of his sanity. Yes there is the cause, u see! And the whole science is in consistent strife to possess 'cause'. Bud' science, ye want to be murderer ay?_

Accent or a Focus or a stress -?

Just what is the difference b/w 'accent', & 'focus/stress' .. (reading prosody from book 'the eng semantic' by Charles W. Kreidler. Please answer in context to that. By features elaborated of 'em, they appears to be all the same. The one and the same thing!
